Rev. Connie Cox
Rev. Bob Cox serves as President Of Antioch Bible Ministries and Rev. Connie Cox Serves as Vice_President. They founded the Ministry in 1998. The first ministry was Antioch Bible College. By the year 2002 the College did not have any students and the focus of ministry turned to Antioch Bible Church and Child Evangelism.
God has called our founders to serve the people of Surigao City and they have done so without hesitation.

OUR BEGINNING
OUR FOUNDERS ARRIVED IN Surigao City in July 1998 to reopen a Bible School that had been closed for four years. However due to conditions and circumstances with the Bible School’s parent organization the decision was made to separate and organize the Bible School under a new name and organization. This required moving to a new location in Surigao City. By late September the school began classes in two apartments which were located adjacent to the present location of Antioch Bible Church, Roxas street congregation. Our founders were the primary teachers along with several local pastors who taught some classes. The first year brought many challenges to the ministry. But God was faithful to provide all we needed to face them. We praise God for His faithfulness and the support from friends and family in the U.S. This was only the beginning.

The Founders and several staff members sought God for His will. God in answer to much prayer led us to just take what we had and continue. We had started Sunday morning services for the students and staff and a number of local people were attending also. We had also started Child Evangelism in several locations in the city. With this plan before us we embarked on the journey that has brought us to the present.

Because of the ongoing and additional Bible Studies we have seen the members grow and become vital members of the ministry. Child evangelism has been responsible for drawing many adults to the church. God has guided the ministry to reach out beyond the city and establish two other church congregations about an hours drive from the city.
