What is a WED ministry?
The idea comes from the fact that all born again Christians are the Body of Christ and the Body of Christ is also called the Bride of Christ. Therefore we are WED to Christ. The letters W, E, and D also represent the following :
W- We are a worshipping
Ministry giving God all the
Honor and Glory
E - We are an Evangelizing
Ministry taking the Message of
the Cross and the Word of God
to the nations
D - We are a ministry that
disciples those who have
been saved.
Why we are called ANTIOCH BIBLE MINISTRIES
The believers were first called Christians at ANTIOCH as recorded in Acts 11:26
Act 11:26 And when he had found him, he brought him to Antioch. So it was that for a whole year they assembled with the church and taught a great many people. And the disciples were first called Christians in Antioch.
We started with ANTIOCH because we are believers whose purpose is to lead the lost to Christ.
The BIBLE is the word of God and is our guide and is where we find our purpose and mission.
2Ti 3:16-17 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, (17) that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.
God called us to take the word of God to the nations. The call is to be missionaries and that call involves many forms of ministry. Ministries best describe our mission.
Eph 4:11-12 And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, (12) for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ,
